1. What is wrong with me? We will always do our best to diagnose your condition utilizing every available tool. Once we have a specific diagnosis we will then present a specific course of care to get you back to normal.
2. Can you help? Most of the spinal, muscle and joint related conditions we see respond very well to the conservative chiropractic care we offer. So in most cases yes, we can help. Our motto is that we will do all in our power to help you, but should you need something outside our scope of practice we will do our best to get you to the provider best suited to help your condition.
3. How long will it take? This is perhaps the hardest question to answer. The answer really depends on the severity of the complaint, the longevity of the condition and the number of areas involved. Many questions need to be investigated regarding the nature of the injury. Was it a traumatic injury? One that slowly worsened over time? Are there neurologic complaints, i.e. numbness, or tingling, muscle atrophy or weakness? Most of the complaints we see are helped within a few weeks to a few months.
4. How much will it cost? The cost depends on whether you are paying out of your pocket or using your medical insurance. It is necessary to verify insurance benefits and what is a covered condition. We will call your insurance company to verify benefits. Most people will have a co-pay associated with their insurance benefits. You may or may not have a deductible to meet first. Again, we will call and get that information for you.
